The Beautification and Tree Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the Mayor and City Council on fostering and promoting the beautification within Montgomery.
Seven volunteers appointed by the Montgomery City Council compose the City of Montgomery Beautification and Tree Commission. The Commission meets on the first Monday of the month at 9 a.m. at the Public Works building,7315 Cornell Road, Montgomery, Ohio 45242.
The Beautification and Tree Commission sponsors a number of events throughout the year such as:

- Arbor Day Celebrations
- Tree City USA recognition
- Plant Swaps
- Downtown Holiday Decorating
- Hanging basket planting
- Tree workshops
