Brian was appointed as City Manager on January 9, 2018. He previously served as the Interim City Manager from August 2017, Public Works Director from 2012 until January 2018, and Assistant Public Works Director from 2006 to 2012. He has been employed in various capacities as a public works employee for over 30 years. His prior experience includes 17 years with the City of Defiance, Ohio, where he began his public works career in 1989. Brian was promoted to Parks and Recreation Director in 1998 where he served four years before being promoted to Superintendent of Streets and Highways in 2002. Brian attended Defiance College, served as President of the Public Works Officials of Southwest Ohio (PWOSO), is a member of the American Public Works Association (APWA), Ohio City/County Management Association (OCMA), International City/County Management Association (ICMA), Rotary Club of Northeast Ohio and is also a graduate of the Leading, Educating and Development Program from the University of Virginia, Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service.
Tracy Henao was appointed Assistant City Manager for the City of Montgomery, Ohio in April 2019, the Community Development Director in January 2015 and previously served as the City Planner since September of 2006. Her prior experience includes serving as the Director of Planning and Zoning for Goshen Township in Clermont County and other roles relating to urban planning and development. Tracy received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati in Environmental Studies and a Master’s Degree in Planning from Indiana University. She is also a graduate of the Leading, Educating, and Development Program from the University of Virginia, Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service. Tracy is a member of the International City Manager Association, Ohio City/County Management Association, Urban Land Institute, and American Planning Association.
Connie served as a Customer Service Representative for the City of Montgomery from June 2012 through February of 2015 and currently serves as the Executive Assistant and Clerk of Council. She has worked in the local government field since 1989 for local area municipalities in various capacities. Connie received her Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Studies with a focus on Public Administration from Northern Kentucky University. She is a graduate of the Leading, Educating, and Development Program from the University of Virginia, Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service. In 2020, Connie received her designation as a Certified Municipal Clerk through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC).
Julie Prickett has been with the City of Montgomery since 2008. She is the Human Resources Manager for the City and has served in this capacity since November 2012. Her prior experience includes a variety of roles in public administration at the local level with an emphasis in human resources and labor relations. Julie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, graduating summa cum laude, and her master’s degree in public administration from the University of Cincinnati. Julie is also a graduate of the Leading, Educating, and Development Program from the University of Virginia, Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service. She is a member of the Greater Cincinnati Human Resources Association, Ohio Public Employer Labor Relations Association, National Public Employer Labor Relations Association, International Public Management Association for Human Resources and the Society for Human Resource Management.
