Where can I find information about trees?

The City of Montgomery has been a proud Tree City Award recipient for well over twenty years straight, and a Tree City USA Growth Award  for its ongoing commitment and action focused on environmental stewardship through, care of public trees in the City’s urban forest.  These awards continue the recognition received during 2009 when the Arbor Day Foundation recognized Montgomery as a “Sterling” Tree City USA, which at the time recognized Montgomery as just the sixth community in Ohio to earn this prestigious honor.

The city maintains an archive of helpful articles written by our staff arborist, called Terry’s Tree Tips.  If you would like to browse these articles, view  Terry’s Tree Tips   You can also contact a  certified arborist by visiting the Ohio Department of Agriculture website at agri.ohio.gov.
