Foster Care/Adoption Home Inspection Request

In Ohio, prospective foster and adoptive homes must pass a home safety inspection as part of the home study process to ensure a safe environment for a child. This inspection checks for hazards like working smoke alarms, safe chemical storage, covered outlets, and a clean-living space. You may also need to provide a fire safety inspection report from the local fire department. This inspection would be performed after receiving the form provided by either the adoption or foster group.
