The City of Montgomery is proud to welcome Officer Dylan Ballauer to our police department. Dylan previously served as a police officer for three years with the City of Hamilton. He was a Field Training Officer and an Active Threat Response Instructor, certified through the Ohio Tactical Officers Association (OTOA).
We asked Dylan why he wanted to become a police officer.
“My dad is a police officer for the City of Blue Ash, “ said Officer Dylan Ballauer. “Growing up, he was and still is someone I look up to and strive to be like. I always knew I wanted to serve in some way, and nothing was more appealing to me than having the opportunity to protect members of the public.”
Dylan and his fiancé Kennedy, became engaged last year. They enjoy spending time with family, trying new foods, and vacationing in Florida.
