Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the City Manager, Municipal Building, City of Montgomery, Hamilton County, 10101 Montgomery Road, 45242, until 10:00 A.M. local time on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, for the HAM-US22-15.22 MONTGOMERY ROAD RESURFACING PROJECT and at said time and place, publicly opened and read aloud.
Contract documents, bid sheets, and specifications (paper copies and digital files on flash drive) can be obtained at the City Municipal Building, 10101 Montgomery Road, Montgomery, Ohio 45242 during regular office hours, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday for $25.00 per set, which will not be refunded. Checks shall be made payable to the City of Montgomery.
Each bidder is required to furnish with his proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. It is the intent and requirement of the Owner that this project be constructed and substantially complete by Friday, October 31, 2025.
The successful bidder and all subcontractors must comply with the prevailing wage rates established by the Davis Bacon Wage Determinations of the U.S. Department of Labor, with all EEO requirements in the payment of prevailing federal minimum wages and with the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standard Act regarding compensation for overtime and safe working conditions. This project is subject to a 7.0% DBE participation goal (subcontracts: Materials and Supplies). DOMESTIC STEEL AND IRON USE REQUIREMENTS PER 23 CFR 635.410 APPLY TO THIS PROJECT.
All Contractors submitting bids must be ODOT-pre-qualified and prequalification status must be in force at the time of bidding, the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract.
The Council of the City of Montgomery, Ohio, reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
