2021 Ornament
The historic landmark ornament program has returned featuring the Sage Tavern. Originally built as the Montgomery Hotel around 1818; it was later known as the Sage Tavern. The building, located at 9412 Montgomery Road, was constructed of posts and beams and at one time, it was almost three times the present length. Teamsters, driving their wagons between Columbus and Cincinnati, slept on the floor for 10 cents a night. The building was restored by Ireland May, Ltd. in 1999.
