Live at the Uni – The Newbees

From the imagination of a husband and wife musical duo, blossomed a many-limbed, musical family tree. For two decades, The Newbees have been producing compelling original compositions, crafted of rich harmony and improvisation, employing American songwriting traditions, vintage pop energy and rock-n-roll sensibility.
A busy touring band with nine original albums, The Newbees were profiled in the heralded 2021 docuseries “A Band & a Van.” Their Live at the Uni performance will feature their original compositions as well as a few song favorites from The Beatles.
There is no charge for admission to the concerts, but the Arts Commission suggests a donation of $5 per adult at the door to help defray the cost of the events.
The 2025 Live at the Uni concert series is made possible in part by an investment of public funds from the Ohio Arts Council. The Ohio Arts Council is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically.
Registration begins October 13 at 9:00 a.m.
