Beautification & Tree Commission’s Garden & Tree Tour

Sunday, June 23, from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Self-guided tour of five private gardens and two City of Montgomery Park gardens.

Sign in the Swaim Park parking lots off Cooper Road and Zig Zag Roads. You will receive a brochure and map to drive to each location and tour at your own pace.

This year, the tour features a garden filled with native species of plants, a garden with hydrangeas in a charming setting, and homeowners who built a pond in their yard during the COVID lockdown. This is a great opportunity to gather ideas to grow your own fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Get ideas for discouraging those pesky animals who like to mow through your plants or nibble on things just before they are at their peak.

The tour also features a pollinator garden and a permanent bed at Swaim Park.

Artists from Cincinnati Brush & Palette Painters will be at each garden, creating a work of art.

*Some gardens are located on uneven ground, so appropriate footwear and good mobility are recommended.
