Officer Paul Payne was awarded the 2023 Hamilton County Police Association Award for Service.
Since 2001, Paul Payne has served as the school resource officer for Sycamore High School and previously served as the president of the Ohio School Resource Officers Association.
During a banquet in January, the HCPA Board presented Paul with the Col. Emil J. Otting Service Award. The award recognizes members of the Hamilton County Law Enforcement for their outstanding job performance that exemplifies the goals of the Hamilton County Police Association.
The award recipient, through act or accomplishment, must have contributed to the HCPA mission of “Cooperation in Operation” and positively impacted the citizens of Hamilton County, either directly or through interaction with other law enforcement agencies.
